Introduction:

Bluestacks is one of the most popular Android Emulators. Let's check out, is it also the fastest of all Android Emulators? Bluestacks 4 is the latest version of the Bluestacks series. In this blog post, we shall be reviewing the Bluestacks version 4 and find out is it worth downloading.

Bluestacks 4 Window

System requirements:

Minimum system requirements (As per Bluestacks Website):
  • OS: Microsoft Windows 7 and above.
  • Processor:  Intel or AMD Processor.
  • RAM: Your PC must have at least 2GB of RAM. (Note that having 2GB or more disk space is not a substitute for RAM).
  • HDD: 4GB Free Disk Space.
  • You must be an Administrator on your PC.
  • Up to date graphics drivers from Microsoft or the chipset vendor.

My System Specifications:

My computer is just an average PC like all others.
  • OS: Microsoft Windows 10.
  • Processor: Intel Pentium 4405U @ 2.10 GHz.
  • RAM: 4 GB.
  • HDD: > 4 GB.
  • Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 510.

Bluestacks 4 Review (My Honest Opinions):

The review will be divided into performance, user interface (UI), keymapping, and other features.

#1. Performance:

The performance is quite impressive. It is certainly faster than the previous version i.e Bluestacks 3. I have been using Bluestacks 4 for approximately one month, but rarely got cases in lagging. Yes, it lags in my computer but runs smoothly if there are no background apps running.

Rating based on performance: 4 out of 5.

#2. User Interface (UI):

The User Interface (UI) is quite simple. Anyone can easily find applications or games using such user interface. But, if it were a Stock Android type, I would have liked it more. But, this depends on your personal preference. But, I have no complaint regarding the User Experience (UX).

Rating based on UI: 4 out of 5.

#3. Keymapping:

Keymapping is one of the most important features of an Android Emulator for the reason to play games on a PC. Bluestacks 4 has improved its Keymapping from Bluestacks 3 and 3N. But, in certain cases, it seems to be not much useful. For example, in the game Clash Royale, I prefer to play with a mouse rather than a keyboard because you have to create a key object for each and every spot on the screen where you want to drop your card. So, I think Bluestacks should try resolving this issue.

Rating based on Keymapping: 3 out of 5.

#4. Other Features:

Bluestacks 4 is packed with certain new features such as Multi-Instance, Bluestacks World, etc. Multi-Instance is the feature that allows you to play a game different accounts simultaneously. Multi-Instance seems to be useless for a low-end PC as it takes much RAM. But, Bluestacks World is quite interesting. You can earn Bluestacks points and redeem that to get free gaming goodies.

Rating based on other features: 4 out of 5.

#5. Installing Apps:

Installing an application or a game in Bluestacks is quite easy. It can be either downloaded from Google Play Store or by choosing an APK file from your system. So, you should not find any difficulty in installing an application or a game.

Rating based on installing apps and games: 5 out of 5.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5.

Conclusion:

So, overall we can say that Bluestacks is currently the best Android Emulator. I would not recommend a person that has low PC specifications than my computer as it would a total waste. That's it for this blog post. Hope, you've got all your queries!
